 Book cover

Polychromatic printing is a combination of painting and screen printing developed by the author. With this unique process the image a watercolorist or silk painter achieves on paper or fabric can be reproduced five to eight times. Instead of painting on fabric or paper, all the colors of the image are directly painted with concentrated dyes on one print screed. One pull of the squeegee releases the dyes to print the entire image on fabric or paper. Enough dye is on the screed for five to eight images.

If you are a watercolorist, fabric painter, screen printer, or just interested, you will benefit from this inventive process. No solvents are used.

Polychromatic Screen Printing includes step-by-step instruction, clear illustrations and photographs, and a "Problem and Solution" section to answer questions. At the end of each chapter is a "Discussion" comparing this process to conventional screen printing, and suggesting other possibilities for going beyond the basics. Index included. Number of pages: 128. Revised 1991. Retail price: $12.95 ISBN: 0-9613331-0-3
